Our home and holiday lets, in Bulgaria are situated very near the Greek and Turkish borders.With Greece only 12 miles away! and a new motorway which takes you straight to Istanbul!

The tranquil and picturesque village where we live
is called 'Yerusalimovo'... the translated meaning is 'Jerusalem'.

The village is a typical farming village, quiet and peaceful. All our Neighbours and friends are farmers and are very self sufficient and offer a good selection of their home grown produce which is worth taking advantage of!

It is an absolute must to visit 'Ivan and Dora's cafe-bar for their excellent hospitaliy great food and not forgetting the home made 'Rakia'! (Bulgarian brandy!) they are exceptional hosts and you can be sure you will be taken good care of and will have a memorable time!

Other amenities in the village are shop, cafe and a church.

Our house and holiday homes are built from and into the rock that surrounds 'Yerusalimovo', and this gives the village its unique appearance and offers some fantastic panoramic veiws and scenery.

We are not far from the small town of Lubimets. There are a selection of shops and a fantastic bustling market on a sunday where everyone likes to haggle!
Svilengrad is the next nearest town only 15 minutes drive it is much bigger than Lubimets and is cosmopolitan, ideal for everything you may need for your holiday or gifts to take home. There are many shops and good bars and restaurants too.

The town of Harmanli is only half an hour away and Haskovo is a big town and great for shopping, only an hours drive away.
We are approximately 2 hours drive from the nearest seaside resort 'Sunny beach' in Bourgas, a lovely sea side resort that has not been over developed or commercialized! We are also 5 hours drive from the beautiful beaches, in Varna.

The nearest airports that operate flights all year round are Bourgas, Sofia and Varna, Plovdiv is closest but flights only throughout the winter as it is close to ski resorts.There are many ski resorts for the enthusiast of winter sports.
Sofia is the capital and is approximtely 3 hours drive it is a huge place with many shops and is well worth a visit.

For the fishermen there is the river 'Maritza' near Lubimets. There are also many lakes nearer to the ranch.
